“Do you think that will keep them off our backs for a bit?” Zeke asked Freya.

“Yes. However, you may wish to wear a disguise if you go abroad. Your face is on every channel. They are even totting you as the most eligible and richest bachelor in the system. None of them have come even close to my calculations of your wealth.”

Zeke groaned.

Freya giggled. “You will love what they are saying on that tacky show, ‘Rumour or Fact’. You have undoubtedly heard rumours of what happens to men, in particular, when they acquire magical items.”

Zeke groaned again as Carly and Lindsay joined him in the helm. Carly bent over Zeke and kissed him. Zeke hauled her onto his lap and returned the kiss. Lindsay put an arm around Zeke’s neck before giving him and then Carly kisses. Zeke wrapped his free arm around Lindsay’s waist as Carly took Lindsay’s hand.

As Carly lay against Zeke, she asked, “Do tell, Freya.”

Freya went one better and flashed the show up on the big screen.

An air-blown, blonde, and Caucasian woman of an age between twenty-five and thirty-five was seated in a comfortable white chair. She wore a tight, strapless, red dress that barely kissed the top of her knees. It showed plenty of surgically enhanced cleavage.

Her co-host was of Indian descent. He had a professionally trimmed beard and sprayed in place, side-parted, wavy shoulder-length hair. His tailored, light grey suit had thin, red, vertical strips to match his red tie.

“Now come on, Kamran, you have got to admit there are a lot of solid rumours supporting the reported enhancements that males receive when they get magic items.”

“They are most likely as true as the old wives’ tales about African males that were rumoured to be true in previous centuries, Anita. As to the rumours that men of previously low sperm counts can produce children once they don a magical item, also remains to be proven as a fact.”

“Nope, I can’t agree with you on that one, Kamran. Scientific reports from Harmony show that the men who go there and marry a local have all had no problems producing kids.”

Kamran shook his head. “That’s not the same thing, Anita. Everyone knows Queen Lee is responsible for that phenomenon. We are talking about donning magical items. Just because Zeke Walker has a magical item doesn’t make him a supper stud.”

Anita giggled and tossed back a long curl, artfully. “Kamran, he was already a super stud. He says he turned twenty-three today, but he looks more like a very hunky twenty. Happy Birthday, Zeke,” she blew a kiss at the camera and winked.

Kamran retorted, “Exactly. We can’t determine when he got the item. Rumours say he got an item a fortnight ago here on Armstrong. If he did, there are no outward signs to show it. Other rumours say they look younger, but his facial features have barely changed in the nearly four years he has been coming here.”

“We’ve had four women contact us to say they have had encounters with him over the last three years. One was on his last visit here. She reported the same dimensions as the others. If the rumours are true, she should have said he was bigger.”

Anita chuckled, “Kamran, according to them, if he got any bigger, it would be sheer waste. As it is, if those women reported truthfully, some women would have trouble taking him.”

“It was interesting to note they were all tall, athletically built women, yet they said he wore them out and had incredible recovery times. He can come and wear me out anytime he wants,” she giggled girlishly.

Carly and Lindsay were laughing. That stopped abruptly when Zeke commented, “I only got a new item today. I wonder what it changed?”

“Crikey, Zeke, I hope you didn’t get any bigger,” Lindsay said with some concern.

Zeke chuckled, “I heard a rumour that magically enhanced people can take any size. Apparently, we can also adapt to our partner’s needs as required. Lindsay adapted to take me, and so did I, so that we didn’t hurt each other.”

Lindsay gave Zeke a puzzled look. “You crafty bugger. You really had me sweating, but you knew all along that I had nothing to worry about.”

“Did I hurt you?”

Lindsay shook his head, “No, it was wonderful from start to finish. I wasn’t so worried about hurting you, as you seemed well-practised. Even so, I know not to rush the preliminaries.”

Zeke squeezed Lindsay’s waist, “I’m not that well practised, more observant. I’ve had my bling since I was eleven, and my first sexual partner wasn’t until I was seventeen. So, I wasn’t aware that what I did was abnormal.”

“After my first couple of partners, I realised that I automatically adapted to meet my partner’s needs, particularly if they were mundanes. It wasn’t always easy. As often as not, my needs weren’t met.”

“You and Carly may only have three gems and a full set, but I feel the difference. Even though Carly was only kissing me, the connection between us, three, was there. When you both came with me, I felt that bond strengthen.”

“Each loving encounter, even what we are doing right now, just hugging and touching, adds to the whole. I feel anchored, calm and at peace. You are both good for me.”
