Chapter 6

Renee arrived back home on Christmas Eve. She was surprised to see that there was another guest there for Christmas Eve dinner – Joey.

“Mom, can we talk for a minute in the library in private.”

“Sure.”

“Mom, who is this boy, why is he here?”

“Renee, his name is Joey, a college freshman who we had over for Thanksgiving and who has stayed with us each weekend since then. We invited him to stay over Christmas break with us too since he lives too far from home to travel back home.”

“Gosh, he looks awfully young to be a freshman.”

“He is 18, I assure you.”

“He is staying for the entire Christmas break?”

“Yes.”

“Where will he sleep? In the guest room?”

“Well, to be honest, Renee, since we are all adults here, Joey sleeps with Daddy and me in our bed.”

“What the fuck is he doing in your bed, Mom? You can’t be serious?”

“Watch your language! And to be perfectly blunt, what he is doing is fucking both of us.”

“Oh my god!” What happened to you since I have been away?”

“Well, sweetheart, Daddy and I decided that we should look for pleasure where we can find it. We aren’t hurting anyone, Joey is an adult and is fully capable of making his own decisions, and we haven’t forced anything. We aren’t going to live out the rest of our lives not fulfilling our desires.”

“Is Daddy gay? Is that what you’re saying?”

“Daddy isn’t gay, Renee. He is bi, and so is Joey. It isn’t gay if your wife watches. And Joey also makes love to me while Daddy is there too. We all take part and enjoy ourselves. If this is too disturbing to you, I suggest that you might want to find a hotel room after dinner instead of staying here because we aren’t going to deprive ourselves.”

“I can’t believe this is happening!” I’ll stay after dinner, but I am going to my room, locking the door and putting on headphones. I don’t want to even think about it.”

“That’s fine. Just be polite to Joey at dinner.”

During dinner, Renee barely spoke at all. Joey excitedly told Sara and Sam the courses he planned to take next semester. He also tried to engage Renee, asking her advice about college courses and about her time at the same college. Renee gave mostly one-word answers.

After dinner and helping to clean up, Renee disappeared into her room for the night. Sara and Sam and Joey went into the master bedroom.

“Joey, I am sorry Renee. She broke up with her boyfriend earlier this month and isn’t herself. And I told her that you were sleeping here with us, and she is adjusting to that as well. I hope she will be nicer to you tomorrow after it all sinks in a bit more.”

“OK, I guess. I’ll just let her be.”

“Joey, everything here is fine between us, and we don’t want Renee’s presence down the hall to interfere with all that we enjoy in here. We just have to respect that she isn’t ready to accept it, but that is her problem, not ours.”

With that Sara kissed Joey and began undressing the boy.
