Introduction

Welcome to Part 4 of Time Scope. If you haven’t read the first three parts of the story, you need to do that before reading Part 4. The first three parts contain information relevant to Part 4 that is not explained. So, please read the preceding parts before you continue reading this Introduction. If you have previously read the first three parts, it may be beneficial to reread the Parts for I recently made a number of changes to the chapters.

I originally posted the final chapter of Part 3 of Time Scope on November 10, 2020. In June of 2023, I decided to reread Part 1 of Time Scope. Due to the number of errors I found and corrected, I decided to also update Parts 2 and 3. While updating Part 3, I realized that I had forgotten to finish the story.

I don’t know why I thought I had completed the story, but I did. So, I completed my updates and reposted the first three Parts of Time Scope. Once that was done, I immediately set aside the story I had been working on and began working on Part 4.

The story I was working on is titled The Pink Monkey Chronicles. I must have set that story aside at least a dozen times. In fact, I started to write that story before I wrote and posted my first story on SOL, which was posted on April 22, 2014. If I manage to live long enough and am still able to write, I may be able to finish The Pink Monkey Chronicles.

By the end of Part 3, Jeb and his wives had completed two meetings.

The first meeting was with President Betty Kelt and her representatives. The purpose of the meeting was to decide who was to attend a second meeting. The decision was, the member governments of the United Nations should be invited to attend the second meeting. The second meeting was to determine if Earth’s nations should hold a third meeting to discuss whether the nations should enter into an Alliance Agreement with the Empire and to define the terms of that agreement.

Jeb and his fellow Facilitators convened the second meeting. This meeting was the first meeting of the delegates who represented the member governments of the United Nations. At the end of the meeting, the delegates were polled to determine the recommendation they would make to their governments. Seventy seven percent of the delegates were in favor of convening the third meeting, or as the delegates referred to it, ‘the second meeting’, since from their point of view their meeting was the first meeting. The delegates returned home to brief their countries’ leaders, so they could decide if they wanted to convene another meeting. Prior to the end of the delegate’s first meeting, Mary told Jeb that the decision would be to convene another meeting.

During the first meeting of the delegates, Jeb and his wives became aware of a business opportunity. They began to work on the opportunity during the meeting.

Part 4 will focus primarily on Jeb and his wives taking advantage of the business opportunity and preparing for the second meeting of the delegates. A few of the events during the meeting are mentioned, but a day-by-day description of each day’s events was not attempted.

Part 4 is the final Part of Time Scope. While I could continue the story, I decided to not do so for personal reasons. Namely, I have several stories that I want to complete before I am no longer capable of writing.
