Back home, Janes thoughts started to turn to going to work after the summer holidays, how Nathan would react, and how she would feel seeing him again.

Like most schools, the staff go back a day earlier than the pupils, and this September was no exception, in previous years, this has been a jeans and comfortable top type kind of day.
