Chapter 29

Young Adult Sex Story: Chapter 29 - Austin is moving in with his Grandma Montgomery, who he doesn’t know and isn’t sure if she wants him. But he has no choice since his dad has remarried, and his mom is wrapped up in a new love and doesn’t want him to live with her. The only thing that gives him hope is that his grandmother has agreed to allow him to bring his horse and bought him a puppy. The one bright spot is that Austin meets a group of teens who start a group called Club DTF.

When they were preparing to leave Emma’s, Max decided he wasn’t ready to get in the truck to go home. So, after half an hour of playing ‘Chase Me,’ Austin decided his pup needed to start obedience training. That was why Max was rolling on the ground that morning, trying to escape the leash Austin had clipped to his collar.

Austin’s dad walked out back with a cup of coffee.

“How long do you expect he’s going to do that?” Clay asked.

“Until he figures out he can’t have his way.”

“That won’t be until he’s out of his doggy teens.”

Austin ignored the implied jab.

“Have you and Mom found a horse yet?” Austin asked.

“She seems to have settled on a palomino quarter horse named ‘Trigger.’”

‘Palomino’ referred to the coloring of a horse, a gold coat with a white mane and tail. The distinctive coloring came from the interbreeding of Spanish horses with those from America.

“After the side trip to her place, getting the horse shouldn’t take too long.”

His dad gave him some side-eye.

“Your mom said you’d talked to her. I doubt there’ll be any ‘side trips’ today.”

“Good to know. Want to help me for a minute?” Austin asked, changing the subject.

“With what?”

“Mrs. Draper raced Storm yesterday. I think the horse is fine, but I’d like another opinion.”

“No problem,” Clay said.

By that time, Max had stopped throwing a fit and submitted to being led by the leash to the barn. Austin loved him up and told Max he was a good boy before letting him loose to chase the cats.

“What’s he doing?” Clay asked when Max dropped to his belly and held still.

“Rhodesian Ridgebacks are hunters. He’s preparing to ambush that cat at the end of the aisle.”

When the cat wandered closer, Max sprung his trap and raced toward the cat. It wasn’t fair because the cat simply jumped onto the stall railing and swished its tail at the frustrated pup. Max didn’t give up; he jumped and almost got high enough to dethrone the kitty, causing the cat to leap to even higher ground.

“That’s going to be interesting soon. What do you imagine he’ll do if he catches one?” Clay asked.

Austin shrugged. He would deal with that when it happened. Hopefully, Max wouldn’t off his nemesis.

His dad checked Storm and found she had a slight swelling in one of her forelegs, so Austin wrapped a cold pack around it. He then called Mrs. Draper and recommended that she have her vet check Storm. His dad said it was probably nothing, so Austin wasn’t concerned.

Austin called Miss Sandy and told her she was on her own with Keri that day. He suspected the actor wasn’t ready to face him after his involvement in euthanizing the injured horse at the steeplechase race. The rest of the cast would arrive that night. Mrs. Warren had asked Austin to cancel his Western Riding class for the morning so he could help get them up to speed for their upcoming movie.

He would have to face Keri then.

His mom and dad showed up late in the morning with Trigger. His dad walked the quarter horse out to meet Red in the pasture. There was no sign of tension, so Clay took the new horse off its lead and let them get to know each other. Trigger must not have been his last ranch’s dominant horse because he quickly fell in line.

What happened, though, was that Trigger quickly established himself as the second-in-command. Austin expected there would be trouble when Storm was let out of her stall since she’d established herself as the number two in the pecking order.

While he watched the horses interact, his grandmother found him.

“The brewery is slammed. They asked if you could go and help buss some tables.”

“No problem,” Austin said and walked to the storefront.

The parking lot was full, and it looked like there was a line of people waiting to be seated. He grabbed a tray to clear the tables and clean them so people could take the empty ones. The servers were busy getting drinks and such, so they were grateful for his help.

When he took his load to the back, he found Liam changing a keg while Oliver manned the grill.

Austin found a pile of glasses and dishes that needed washing, so he loaded the dishwasher and started it.

“Your stepsister earned herself a polo shirt yesterday,” Liam said.

He’d lost track of her while he spent quality time with Simone and Shea. They’d made it clear that the two of them were only interested in Austin, so he had more than enough to keep him occupied. He hadn’t realized Ruby had been such a busy girl; she’d have had to sleep with all the male club members to earn a shirt.

“I bet her mom won’t be happy to see her wear it now that she knows what DTF means,” Austin predicted.

Oliver chuckled from the kitchen.

“Shit happens,” Liam said, then added, “We talked after you left, and we’re thinking we need a couple of more guys. The number of girls is outpacing us, and as much as I hate to admit it, we don’t seem to be keeping up.”

“What do you want me to do?” Austin asked. “I don’t really know a lot of people.”

“Just keep an eye out. You seem to find like-minded people somehow. Maybe this time, make it a guy or three,” Oliver called out from the kitchen.

“But if you find some new girls, don’t hold back,” Liam said with a smile.

Austin expected the four guys, besides himself, would suffer through breaking in some new girls. He also had no doubt he could find several random guys who would kill to have access to willing girls on an ongoing basis. Austin figured Mav and Luke would move to Middleburg if he told them what was happening.

“I’ll git on that,” Austin said sarcastically with a Western twang.

That made his friends laugh. He had to get back to work.

“Ma’am?” Austin asked when he found Riley, Stacy’s roommate, staring at him.

“Are you a real cowboy, or do they just make you dress like that?” Riley teased playfully.

Austin dropped into his Montana cowboy persona.

“I’m originally from Montana, where I worked as a ranch hand. So, it would be safe to say I’m a real cowboy.”

“I’m Riley.”

“Austin.”

He liked this game.

She smiled and said, “Even your name is a cowboy name.”

“Yes, ma’am, it is.”

She gave him a pouty face.

“I’m bored. My family will be drinking beer for hours, but they say I’m too young to drink. What is there to do for fun around here?”

“How old are you?” Austin asked.

“Eighteen.”

Austin didn’t believe it, and his look must have communicated that. Riley had to be at least 20, but why quibble?

“Okay, I’m really fifteen. But I didn’t want you to dismiss me out of hand as jailbait,” Riley said.

It was official: he really liked this game.

“For what?” Austin asked with a serious demeanor, playing along.

“I don’t know. You’re cute and ... I don’t know,” Riley said, stumbling over her words.

“Want to join me in the break area where there would be no prying eyes?” Austin asked.

Her face lit up as she nodded that she wanted some alone time with him.

Austin stuck his head in the back door.

“Hey, guys, I’m out of here.”

“Thanks for helping us catch up,” Oliver called back.

Austin took the ‘girl’ to the break area, which consisted of a couple of picnic tables surrounded by a six-foot privacy fence.

Austin and Riley sat across from each other.

“Tell me about yourself,” he said.

“I just moved here, and I’m staying with my aunt and uncle. The plan is that once I earn enough money, I can bring the rest of my family here, so I’m working in my uncle’s nail salon to do that.”

“You’re not going to go to school?” Austin asked.

“No. I was told I’ve had enough education, and it’s time I either earned a living or found a man who’ll pay to bring my family here.”
