The Story is set around 2094 when major changes occur in the young police woman's life. She is based in Port Douglas, QLD, where her dad is the Chief Superintendent of the region. We spent a lot of our spare time that week practising magic and having awesome sex.
We’d also had a few more discussions with Lora. Apparently, none of the other Connors here has magical items. Some of them knew of their existence, but they hadn’t found any. She informed us that the only person she had told that we had them was Anne. That was because she had several items and was effectively the matriarch of the Connors family.
Lora recommended that we shouldn’t tell anyone else if we were smart. They were not talked about outside the families and even kept to a need-to-know basis within the family. Wearers could tell who else wore items, but they didn’t point this fact out in public.
She also explained magical exhaustion and the best ways to recharge our magic, being food, absorption of energy from another source such as heat, or sex. Justin and I had already worked out that sex was the fastest and most effective way.
She said we tended to expend more energy when learning a new spell but the more often we used that spell, then the easier it was to do and the less draining it became.
She also recommended that we practise the spells that provided protection since the jobs we were doing could result in us coming to harm. Our medallions could provide some protection, but we were still killable.
She also mentioned that we did have to be careful of who saw what if we used magic in public places. Exposing our abilities could endanger others and us. We found this a very sobering message. We also realised that exposing ourselves could lead to a lot of trouble that we just didn’t wish to learn about the hard way.
The most interesting discussion we had was about magic itself. I wouldn’t say I’m not imaginative, but I had been brought up on science. The concept that I could manipulate things on an atomic level and affect energies I couldn’t really see, by using my mind and some other unknown energy that I could access was quite staggering to me.
Lora explained that according to some of the ancient books they had found, magical energy was found everywhere in the universe. However, other natural energies that we did understand could disrupt magical energy. For example, electricity in large quantities such as lightning was one.
She had also noticed that her spells worked better and were easier to do on Luna. She was able to draw in more magical-energy quicker, and she didn’t tire as easily. She believed that man’s use of radioactive devices on Earth was the reason.
She explained that the radioactive material had polluted our atmosphere and was blocking our ability to draw in the magical energy from the universe. A cousin of hers on Mars had also reported that they had fewer problems drawing on magical energies.
Since we had medallions that were able to pull in and store larger amounts of magical energy, we should find that we could do more complicated spells than she could. Learning how to manipulate magic would also make us more powerful and proficient.
So, we read about spells and practised how to do magic.
On a Sunday afternoon, I was playing with a spell that said it provided an invisible wall.
I had learnt that slight changes in the spell would make the light go through or it could block it from one direction or both. Adding a glamour, I could make a doorway or hallway appear to have disappeared. If the area were touched, the person would feel a solid wall, and they couldn’t pass through it.
“Danny,” Justin called out as if he was calling me from a different room.
“Yes,” I answered with a smirk, as I examined my handiwork.
“Can you put the door to the bedroom back please,” he asked with a tinge of exasperation in his voice.
I giggled and altered the shield to see Justin standing on the other side. “Can you see me,” I asked.
“No, all I see is a solid wall. But if I touch it, I can feel that something isn’t right,” he said.
I watched his expressions as he examined where the shield was then he grinned and wiped his hand down the shield and walked through to me.
“How did you do that?” I asked in surprise.
“I examined the spell and found that I could unravel it. I suppose that is the best description of what I did,” he told me proudly.
I then found myself being accosted by a randy man. As I ran my hand down over his cock, I frowned a little.
“I’m sure you have gotten bigger,” I told him.
He flexed his hips into my hand and said, “Don’t care, all I know is making love to you is addictive and I can’t seem to get enough of you,” he mumbled as his lips plucked at the sensitive skin of my neck.
One of his hands was squeezing my arse gently, and the other had sneaked up under my loose top and found another of his favourite treasures that he liked to examine in intimate detail. His hips rocked into my hand as I rubbed him.
We had also noticed that his staying power had increased and once we joined, time seemed to have no meaning. It was just us, and the wonderful feelings that we seemed to have little trouble evoking in the other.
I was addicted to his lovemaking, as much as he appeared to be with mine.
We both grumbled when we were interrupted when the call box for the door chimed.
Reluctantly, I went and answered the door, “Yes, who is it?”
“MP Amos Amhara, Ma’am. We have a situation, and Colonel Darcy has asked for me to come and get you and your husband,” a male voice replied.
We weren’t due to start work until the following day.
The lowest military rank for the MPs was Second Lieutenants. However, we did have some sergeants, corporals and general enlisted personnel working as office staff in the MP Posts since they used Military ranks and not Police ranks.
Some time back they simply called the Second Lieutenants, MPs. For Justin and me, they were effectively Constables or beat-cops.
Colonel Carmel Darcy was the equivalent to my Dad’s Police rank and basically ran the show on Luna. Under her were three Lieutenant Colonels (LTCs) who ran the three different provinces and then the Majors who ran the different departments like ours.
The Senior Detectives were equivalent to Captains in other departments and people who ranked just under us since we were also Detectives, were called Lieutenants in the other departs. They were similar to Police Sergeants rather than Military Sergeants.
The fact the Colonel wanted us was very serious. We had been told that she rarely got involved in day-to-day operations. To by-pass LTC Paulo Rodriguez, our province head, and Major Simon Schneider, the head of the P3’s Detectives division, to call us in, must mean that something really bad had happened.
