For main-stream reading, I tend to like the dark horror/fantasy genre. I really enjoy post-apocalyptic fiction when it is done right. Sex and violence are OK as long as they contribute to the story, though I prefer it to be between consenting adults. However I can appreciate times when other unconventional pairings become important to the story line. I am not a big fan of the 'stroke' stories for myself, but will occasionally look them over if the mood arises and the story synopsis grabs my attention.
