Juli Mackey's had a long morning: Split from her friends and crew on an alien planet, ravished multiple times by insect-like creatures. She's naked and vulnerable after fleeing a cave, even with a "seed" protecting her from the wildlife. She needs more to survive. After washing herself, she stumbles upon a parasite who offers to function as a suit for her...if she serves as its host. Luckily, Juli has a thing for parasites...
