For obvious reasons, the kids make a break from Child Protective Services. Their greatest fear is that they might be fostered out to separate families and never see each other again. There's no sex in this story (they're only nine). It gets mentioned, but the kids don't do it. -- I'm numbering them so that they will be listed in chronological order.
