Mage hounds were created out of fear to hunt magic users. Only it went very wrong and they spread until they were the threat to every life. My hatred for the hounds was because of my anger at being hunted like an animal. My first chance to get a weapon came with the death of men that had been attacked and killed. Now I had what I needed and the hounds were not going to wait before coming for me.
