Brian was the runty little brain of 4th grade and a victim of bullies until next door neighbor Joanne, two years older, became his guardian angel. Bigger guys protected him and girls made him part of their inner circle. Because Joanne said so. But somewhere along the line, Brian becomes the protector instead of the protected. At 15, his dozen girlfriends make the story interesting. There are no sexual situations in the first 12 chapters and no penetration for a long time. It's still sex, though.

I have read this story from the beginning.
Faithfully, every time it was updated.
And because I loved the read, there were times that I cursed the author for not posting more regularly.
But because i, too, am an author, even those words were silent.
This story has made me laugh, and cry, and sometimes in the same evening.
116 chapters later, I almost feel like Brian and his Clan are part of my family. And I most certainly wish they were.
How aroslav manages to keep that many characters and that many threads in a story alive is beyond me. But he does, and reading this story had been a true pleasure. It's going to be very difficult waiting for the second series. But, I will wait, and I'll be there to read it, too.

Retelling the plot line is not my idea of a review, and the plot is simple enough, it is a about a boy growing up and the boys and girls he grows up with. It is about sexual awakening and sexual desire and a group of pretty smart kids and painfully realistic parents (for the most part). It is a well written story and even though it is not complete it is a pretty long story. I really don't care much for coming of age stories, which this is, I don't care much for high school sports, and there is plenty of that, and I don't care about teenage angst, and there is more than enough of that. On the other hand (where we have fingers rather than toes) I spent an entire day just reading the damned story; the writing is so fluid, the characters so compelling and the sex such a damned fine tease that I couldn't pull myself away or off, I'm old).
It is an engrossing tale with a neat twist showing high school kids as something more than slaves to hormones. His portrayal of high school girls never reaches the caricature stage that so many coming of age stories seem to include. Same thing for the boys, yes there are types, that is reality, yet they are finely drawn.
The story is also well edited. It seems that the writers of the longer stories on SOL have an expertise in something and yearn to share it. In this story you will learn about horses, never enough to bore you if you don't like horses, however, if you don't like horse, well then fuck you, I like horses and its my review. Read the story.
