Perhaps I'm just an insensitive clod, but as far as I'm concerned, whoever the partners were, this story was seamless.
A good plot, with two powerful main protagonists that draw you into their world. I have only two complaints; firstly, the story wasn't long enough, a longer story would have allowed better descriptions of the characters and scenes. Secondly, and no blame to the authors here, but for some reason all the dashes were presented as accented capital 'N's. I'm pretty sure that's down to the conversion process to put the story on the site, but I don't really have a clue.
A great story, well written, well constructed, and a happy ending, if it was half as long again it would have been better, but you can't have everything!
