If ever a warning was true, very true, take immediate shelter from thunder storms. You never know what you will experience in one, as our true blue heroes who find themselves whisked (sounds like making pancakes) away to a time when their prowess with all sorts of guns and ammo could be used against all sorts of bad'uns.
As usual Matt carries on his tradition of time shifters, but in this insistence the loving couple stand alone, but true to the time shifting unwritten rules of story telling they all live happily ever after; and so, good night!
Oh, and enjoy ... I did!

As of today's date (24 Sep 13), I have just finished reading this story. It is well written, although a few grammatical errors turned up they did not detract too much from the flow of reading. It had the feeling of a "do not put me down until finished".
Although a short story (5 chapters), very well written and flowing. It has potential for other side action tales which should not be a detraction from the original, but supplement it.
Hopefully, sequels will follow. A wider readership could be found if this story was posted to the FS site as well as it is suitable, I feel, for early teens. If any sequels do follow, I hope they done in the same style so that they can cross over as well.
A very enjoyable story.
