Reviewed:
In his end note, 'Frank Speaks' says, '... It could have been longer but it was time for them to get on with their lives ...' and for me, that is the greatest drawback to this story. Technically, though not brilliant, it wasn't too riddled with errors, and was free of most of the usual homonyms.
The basic plot is the eternal 'Stranded On A Desert Island' premise, but that's as close to the usual offerings of that genre as it gets. This story is much darker than the normal 'SOADI' tale, and is more reminiscent of Lord Of The Flies than Swiss Family Robinson.
On the other hand, I firmly believe 'Frank' should flesh the story out much more, particularly following up on the 'disappearing islanders'. All in all though, this is a great story, and well worth reading, there's enough sex to make it fairly erotic, particularly so in places, and this is a story I will definitely add to my library.
Read, and enjoy!
