It's time to once more return to Berkeley, as bluedragon plays out Ben's final year of undergraduate instruction at the University of California in "An Ordinary College Sex Life 3," the final installment in a trilogy that will position the sexual savant from Orange County at the cusp of adulthood . . . but not before a few traumas, a few surprises and a LOT of sexual and romantic encounters.

But what can one really say about the OSL series, now five very large books long, with seven "vignettes" of various length in the canon? This is one of the great mega-sagas of online erotica, with wonderful characters that have kept readers coming back again and again, and an endless number of well-crafted sex scenes. So how about this: bluedragon CONTINUES to grow stronger as both a writer and a plotter, with twists, turns, cliffhangers and "WTF" moments that will have readers hastily clicking to the next chapter. If "An Ordinary College Sex Life 2" was his best-written book to date, this one tops it.

As summer rolls into fall and classes begin at UC Berkeley, Ben's life is far from what he'd imagined it would be just a year earlier. Dawn Evans, his life-long best friend, lover and soul mate has left campus in the wake of their ugly break-up, determined to rediscover herself while working at their families' favorite camp in Northern California. But he still has the comfort of his younger sister Brooke and Dawn's younger sister DJ, both of whom have long had sexual relationships with Ben. And then there's Adrienne Dennis, his impossibly gorgeous "sister" and lover, who pops in when her modeling schedule allows.

But as much of a blank slate as Ben's life appears to be, it's soon filled with friends both old and new, including

* A submissive but wily ex-lover who has a plan for Ben's life and wants back in,

* A beautiful but buttoned-down classmate, who has a secret that reveals a very different aspect of her personality,

* A dazzling blonde medical student, Ben's rebound after his last break-up, who can't help but think about him even as she plans an eventual return home to her own soul mate,

* An imperious president of a certain Greek organization, who thinks Ben's all hype, until she finds herself at loose ends,

* A high school nemesis in dire straits, who turns Ben's attention to a situation that could prove the most dangerous of his young life.

Enough drama for you? Oh, there's plenty, along with humor and a plethora of great story lines. And somewhere in the midst of it all, OSL readers will be looking for the details of a life-changing moment teased to in AOCSL2. Meanwhile, bluedragon continues to wind over-the-top sexual moments into the story, so that neither the plot nor the sex get in each other's way.

As coming-of-age tales go, this one is for adults. There are some brutal, ugly moments here and there, but the mature reader who doesn't let his or her delicate sensibilities get in the way will be rewarded with an outstanding literary experience. Needless to say, familiarity with the previous books and stories is a must to get the full appreciation of a series that's still a long way from being over.

We're around halfway through the latest book, I believe, and bluedragon has again gifted us with an amazing tale that runs us through an overwhelming amount of emotional turmoil.

Ben is continuing his last year of his college career - his girlfriend and "destined" soulmate Dawn has cheated on him, cheated herself, and run away several times, leaving him abandoned and lonely.

Slowly he's rebounded, and begins the book with his senior year of college starting - his friends coming back to town, and a new commitment to being able to handle single life and being a better guy.

With a promise to wait for Dawn's return from her sojourn to Morris Camp to find herself and come back to him, how will Ben handle his senior year and who will be the mother of BJ, the son he conceives during this year?

An incredibly well written story that continues to drive the drama, angst and pain that has continued to be a constant throughout the series. Ben goes through incredible highs and lows, and you get caught up and live every emotion and moment with him.

This series continues to be the best story you will ever read here, the hottest, the most addictive and the most painful.

I can't recommend it enough, but please - catch up on all the chapters, including the short stories, before beginning this. There is so much backstory and theme written throughout this series you'll be upset if you don't.
