Reviewed:
I've read only the first two chapters of this story, but I am intrigued.
Invid Fan is a good writer. His style is gentle and easy to read, flows well, and mercifully free of technical errors. If people don't like his work that can't be the reason.
It shouldn't be the characters -- they are sympathetic, and well drawn.
The plot? I found the opening pages a little slow, but otherwise interesting enough to keep me reading. I don't want to give away secrets, but there are elements of faith in this, a story by an admitted atheist. There is a God in it. Or perhaps that should be a god, small "g" but that's the reason for the story, I think.
There's no reason I can see for a low score. It doesn't deserve it.
I'm looking forward to future chapters.
