Reviewed:
This is the first story I've read by this author. It's about a young man who lives by himself in a mountain cabin and who is confronted by two would-be PETA-like activist women. I'll not give away the rest of the story.
This is a medium-length romance. If you're of the PETA or ELF mindset, you won't like the messages in this story. And while there is sex in the story, it's not a stroke story, so you should look elsewhere if that's what you want. There's also no secret agents, military, magic, nor giant breasts; again, if that's what you seek, seek another story.
The plot is fairly straightforward and well-constructed with no obvious holes. The characters are generally realistic, and the story itself is believable.
Technically the story needs some work; it would benefit from a good edit for spelling/punctuation/etc. It's not so bad as to render it unreadable, but the reading would go smoother if it were cleaned up a bit.
The author says that this isn't his/her usual style; I've not read any other of the author's stories, so I can't attest to that, but I liked this one enough that I've added a number of his/her stories to my reading queue.
I recommend this one.
