Sea, sex, sailing, and Swallows & Amazons, what more could an old fart like me ask for?

'Tedbiker' may not be Arthur Ransome, but he tells a good tale; you can almost feel the waves bashing into the hull and bursting over the foredeck. His characters come alive for you, and his technical skill is as good as any on SoL. The whole text is beautifully bereft of the common curses of most SoL Authors.

The plot is well thought out, and the story is unashamedly romantic, if you've ever been totally alone in a foreign city, then you know how Ted's main protagonist feels when he says he's invisible. If that had been all you'd known in your lifetime, then you'd want to sail 12,000 miles to find love!

Read this story! In fact, read all of 'Tedbiker's' stories, there isn't a bad one amongst them. Add Ted to your library, and hope he keeps writing.

Read and enjoy! (Have a little sniffle too!)
