Most of my favorites of Lubrican's stories has to be the Blues series. The Rent A Man Blues does not disappoint.
In this story Lubrican explores the clash between traditional Japanese customs and their clash with American customs. The description sets the scene and of course Megan's deceased husband's brother (Uncle) Bob is the Rent-A-Man.
Poor(?) Uncle Bob seems to end up with 3 beautiful women; Megan, her daughter, and the Japanese interpreter, who seem to be in love with him. Who will he end up with or will they have to share?
As usual we have well developed characters and a good plot. The inter-cultural differences are well brought out and all 3 women's feelings for Bob are explored.
The sex develops slow, as is usual in Lubrican stories, but when it happens, it is HOT. The usual pregnancy angle is present.
Michelle is a competent editor, with almost no errors.
Very well done, and a good read.
