Once in a while, one finds a gem among the treasures here on SOL. This story surely proved it to me.

I enjoyed reading it. It was short, but powerful. It was innocence in its purest. If indeed the story is true as the author claims, it felt real to me. The flow of the story was impeccable, the plot captivating from beginning to end, and the emotions tantalizing.

The author did an amazing job in narrating an episode in the life of a 14-year old at a time when the world seemed less paranoid and sexually more genuine.

If you want to understand the world 60 years ago, or want to relive your memories of then, I recommend that you read this story. You will come away with a "glowing feeling" just like our young character.
