When I started this story, it seemed like it was going to be a regular romance. It definitely is not, it is much more.
Alexis is a single elementary school teacher. During her Parent Teacher Conference, she has a torrid meeting with a parent of one of the fathers. However, next day it turns out it was not who she thought it was. The only weird thing happening is the single rose she has on her desk for the next 2 weeks. The real story picks up 3 1/2 years later.
By then she has changed schools when she receives an email from her mystery man telling her not to tell anyone what happened before. Soon she get a visit from a couple weird agents who want details. She of course tells them nothing, even after them threatening her if she doesn't talk. She soon get more details from her mystery man, Oliver. It seems she has gotten involved in inter-galactic intrigue!
To tell more would give too much away, just be assured that there is much love, good sex, space travel, good friends, lots of drama, and even violence to Alexis and Oliver before they find true happiness.
NymphWriter has created a lot of good characters. Alexis is a very strong, loving woman who doesn't know what is going on sometimes but will not take crap from anyone, even someone she is afraid of. Oliver is mysterious at times but how he cares for Alexis is easily seen. A lot of the main characters are human, but even the alien ones are well
developed.
My one complaint was that the science-fiction element was not too well done. However, it is hard to create a complete new universe. She has done great with what she has done with that and the rest of the story. This is NymphWriter's first long story and if she does as well as this one, I hope she does more.
There is not a lot of sex, perhaps only a tenth of the story. What there is is well done and truthfully, pretty hot.
The editing was very good. I was able to find only a couple
misspellings and mistypes.
I corresponded with NymphWriter a few times during the story and she always responded. I appreciate that.
All in all, I loved the story. Anyone that wants to read a good romance with a lot of drama, is urged to read it.
