Every once in a while on this site you are lucky enough to come across an author whose stories stand out as being different.
This story, more importantly, this author, is most definitely different. Not only is the writer's skill obvious in the way each story is crafted, but it is equally obvious that the stories are not written to appeal to anyone but the author. That alone makes them worth a second look.
Whilst this review is for one particular story, the comments could equally be applied to any of this author's stories.
Not only is each plot given a wry twist, the characters are drawn with a deft skill and style. There is also a subtle attention to detail that can only come from someone who is a keen observer of the human condition.
The biggest fault I can find is that the authors stories are woefully under marked, so please, next time you are looking for a well written story, check out this this author. I very much doubt you'll consider your time wasted.
