David Ryan has finally reached his goal in his professional life, he's being made partner at his law firm, at the same time his personal life detonates - his loving wife Keri has been cheating on him. To make matters worse it is with his boss.
Taking off he ends up on the other side of the world, to escape for a time, and maybe to find love again.
Another short romance in A.A. Nemo's formula - the one thing I'd love to see is for him to eventually turn one of these into a longer story. I know he did so with Concordia, but David has a whole life to rebuild here, and there's always some interesting background characters in the stories like Brendon and Dmitri in this one.
Love it for what it is, another quick story about recovering from betrayal.
