"The Rules" is an amusing story about a college professor, a research assistant, a few minor supporting characters, and the rules concerning sexual harassment.

It's very well written, and everyone, excepting the protagonist, can figure out where the story is going, but the journey is both interesting and amusing.

This is not a stroke story, or even one about sexual harassment, but is instead a short story about love between two people, and the sometimes impenetrable difficulty of communication between men and women.

I enjoyed it tremendously, and would also recommend Oldlockguy's other two stories here on SOL.
