When I first read this story, I didn't have reviewers privileges, so I had to content myself with giving it one of the highest scores I've ever given a story on SOL.
I suppose that because the main protagonist is of mature years, I could empathise with her situation (I'm an old fart!). Add in that need to try and recreate something that had been lost, and the gentle and loving way it was found again, and you end up with a story full of warmth and love. Indeed, I found it so moving it made me want to cry!
Athalia, in her blog, says that she thinks this is the best story she's ever written, and I would have to agree with her. This is yet another nugget of pure gold amongst the dross. Read and enjoy!
