ElSol comes roaring back with 'El Sobador', and it works just as well as anyone familiar with his work would expect. The story is told from the point of view of a high schooler who's been trained as a Meso-American healer of sorts, using massage and a variety of chiropracty (or whatever the word is for bone-setting).
When I started out, I was a little... skeptical? It seemed like a not-all-that interesting premise (and I was pouty, wishing there was more A Master's Ring, instead of this new... 'thing'), but I was very wrong. ElSol is in fine form with this effort, and writes an engaging, addictive story. I was NOT ready for it to end when it did. Luckily, there's (hopefully a LOT) more to come!
Stroke element is fairly high, as it's a central theme to the story. The sex scenes are well done, and exactly what you'd expect from ElSol. The story is highly engaging, and addictive. It's a real page-turner... or link-clicker, if you will. Technically... well, it's got a few issues. ElSol, according to his blog, has been trying out some new software and hardware, and there have been some glitches. There are some weird typos, but they're few and far between, and don't cause any issues with readability.
Overall, I highly recommend this, as I do all of ElSol's work. The man can WRITE, and has a way of writing thoroughly engaging storylines that just sucks you in. Good work, ElSol, and at least this reviewer is waiting with bated breath for more.
