One of my fellow editors here on SOL reminded me of a Christmas story I'd read some time ago and forgotten about. "Santa Will Find Us" is a short, sweet story about a single mother at the end of her rope whose Christmas turns out, well, better.
This is not a stroke story or anything of that sort, so if you're looking for "Big Boobed Vixens' Christmas Orgy," you'll have to look elsewhere.
I like the characters in this story, and the plot holds together well. You do get a feel for the characters, despite it being a short story. I find myself wanting to read more about them.
Technically, it has issues you'll have to overlook; it could use a good re-edit.
The author has a number of Christmas stories posted here on SOL, all of them (including this one) with high scores, so I recommend you check them out if you're looking for some seasonal entertainment.
