When to spoil, and when not to spoil . . .
Readers of bluedragon's "Ordinary Sex Life" series are always happy for another slice of Ben's life, and bluedragon comes through again with a second in his series of vignettes while in the process of writing the second half of Ben's college years at Cal.
But while "OSL: Elise," the previous tale, filled in backstory from the time period of the earlier books, "OSL: The Wedding" is definitely set in the future. It's fun and sexy, just a short piece that brings together a lot of OSL favorites at a pretty significant event. The author is on record as not thinking it's particularly spoilerish.
Is he right? Maybe, in that no important facts are given away.
But it does at the very least color Ben's relationships with certain characters at a time beyond the events of the upcoming "An Ordinary College Sex Life 2," so the possibility exists that it could affect the reading of that book. In other words, those who don't want ANY advance information should pass on this story for the time being, assuming they haven't already read it.
Most of the rest of us will just go ahead and read it . . .
