An interesting concept, as the MC appears to have met his soul mate, for lack of a better term, at an extremely precocious age. Even though the feelings initially were not sexual, they finally become so at a more age-appropriate time.
I tend to enjoy long stories more so than short ones, but I admit I am a bit of a romantic at heart. The story was relatively well written, with only a few grammatical or punctuation errors in it, but they failed to distract from the story overall.
