In this, the second of the 'Wellspring' stories, is a delightful little lesbian romance mixed with slightly over the top magical action. It's definitely not an everyday mix, and while it doesn't work perfectly, well, nothing really works perfectly in life.
Technically, the story was superior to the vast majority of stories out there at the moment, but not flawless. The real strength of this story was in the characters, who unfortunately - other than the narrator - aren't really revealed that much. Still, perhaps they can be developed more in future stories, which a hopefully forthcoming in the series.
While those looking for pure stroke would be disappointed, I'd recommend this story to just about anyone other than that group. Give it a chance, and you should like it.
