Sam Robinson is a moving tank. Everyone in school thought he was a bully because of his size...but he walked gently on size ten shoes. Football was his game, but he wasn't good enough for a scholarship, so he enlisted in the navy, but instead of enlisting in the Seabees, he became a much decorated Seal!
Wounded out, he returns to his first pleasures, sculpting and blacksmithing.
Then tragedy strikes; his parents are murdered and the killers go free on a technicality.
So he goes on a revengeful spree and the police detective are on his back as the prime suspect. Enter Sandy Denton, the plain clothes cutie whose dad found how our hero got away with murder.
Romance rears its ugly head, and they all end up in the small community where Sam started out.
A really nice story from Rote's fertile mind.
