If you are living in Tornado Alley, and are relatively normal, during the annual battles for supremacy by two conflicting air masses, one from Canada, cold and dry, and an air mass, hot and wet, from the gulf states, you keep one ear to a weather station, and the other for the Storm Siren. Then its hell for leather into the storm shelter.
