This story grabs me for several reasons, I say "grabs" rather than "grabbed" for the simple reason I shall be reading it many more times. Is it possible for an electronic book to get dog-eared?
One of the reasons it grabs me, is that I agree wholeheartedly with Vulgus' views on organized religion, and modern society as well. In this day and age there is no reason for consensual, recreational sex between close relatives being illegal, provided procreation isn't the objective. To be honest though, I can't remember ever hearing of anyone being prosecuted for it unless it was part of an abusive relationship. As far as religion is concerned, I'm sure that there have been many women as screwed up about sex as Rebecca, and not just by the Catholic Church, some of those evangelistic churches in the States are scary!
Vulgus takes the obnoxious premise of sexual repression to new heights, and weaves a truly erotic story around it. The tale is well engineered, with excellent English and believable dialogue, though his mixing up of the words "affect" and "effect" jar a little that really is a very minor irritation.
Not a stroke story, but a truly erotic tale well worth reading!
