I have a Thing for do-over stories—where the protagonist finds themself returned to an earlier point in their life. A chance to do things over, hopefully better this time. The appeal may be a reflection of my middle-age, but I still roll with it. My point being, I’ve read a lot of them, including most of what’s on SOL.
The focus in this one is repairing a relationship the protagonist regrets blowing the first time around. For most of the tale, it’s an amiable but apparently standard do-over. Then comes a twist that puts everything that’s happened in a new perspective—and does something new with the basic premise. I like that. I like that a lot.
I’m talking in vague terms because this feels like a story best approached unspoiled. I hope more people will read it.

Wow! Not sure how to describe this story other than to say it is very much a romance! I was grabbed almost from the first chapter and read it straight through, dreading the fact that it would end.
If there is any justice in the world this story will be continued. It ended where it did, and the ending worked. But there is so much more to tell.
Don't pass this by, if you like romance, true love, or just plain good reading then please do read this.
Very few technical errors, those that existed did not detract. The sex in the story was, I thought, well balanced and just enough. It is NOT a stroke story, but it IS a well written love story!
