Reviewed:
I've read many of Stultus' stories, but I would have to say that I think this one is my favourite. All of Stultus' plots are well thought out, his characters are multidimensional, and Foole in particular is very human. He is though, not without his flaws.
Foole's Ambition is blessedly free of most (though not all) of the technical errors that plague Stultus' work, making it eminently readable, readable to the point where I was actually moved to tears in places, I was so engrossed.
The baddies are really, really, bad; the goodies are really really good, but with enough badness to see justice done. A very satisfying read, and one I will, no doubt, return to again and again.
An excellent story that I recommend to you dear reader, without reservation.
Enjoy!
