I have to admit, some of 'Wordytom's' stories can push me right to the edge of my 'squick' limit. The Lady And The Drifter on the other hand, is a true love story.
Yes, there is sex in it, but it's in no way a stroke story, so if that's what you're looking for you're out of luck. If, on the other hand, you want a good read, with a real 'feelgood' factor, then this story's for you.
Technically there aren't too many problems, certainly not enough to affect a reader's enjoyment. The 'boy-meets-girl' plot is as old as literature, but Tom gives it a nice face-lift. The characters are well drawn and believable too.
If you want a warm, fuzzy, feeling inside, this tale is for you.
Read it, and enjoy!
