Sometimes a short story can just grab you at a single point, not the quality of the plot or the heat of the sex, but that question of "How would you respond if you were in that position?"
Punky Girl's "Family Honor" was one of those stories for me. It's an entertaining, erotic and sometimes nasty tale, but what I'll most remember about it was the emotional war going on in my head about how I wanted to see it play out.
At the heart of the story is a brother/sister dynamic, but, no, not the one you might expect. Cole, the high school freshman protagonist, and his older sister Kayla are as close as siblings can be, growing up in a single-parent household in which the single parent is often absent. He idealizes her, and she serves as his role model for all that is good and admirable in the human condition. He loves her with all his heart like, well, a brother.
So what happens if what he's seen all his life is only half the story?
What makes "Family Honor" so gripping is that Cole doesn't easily shed his familial attitudes, although he has the scales removed from his eyes. The manner of doing so is a bit contrived, but that's forgivable because Punky Girl sets up a situation in which Cole is force fed the truth . . . and then forced to quickly come to terms with it. Punky Girl has done a good enough job at establishing his honourable point of view that, no matter how engaging an ending she supplies, the reader may have problems with it.
The best thing about that is that even if the Cole in your own mind might have reacted differently, you'll still likely get a lot of enjoyment out of how the author resolves things.
As always, Punky Girl's prose produces a lascivious heat, but it's mixed with such a sweetness that the combination is almost jarring. You might have difficulty deciding what you think about Kayla, but you're not likely to forget her.

In "Family Honor", we have the story of a 15yr old boy that stands up for his sister's honor when another boy calls her a slut and more. A tumble down the stairs and a broken arm later, he has to deal with the fallout of his fight. Read along as he and his sister deal with the aftermath.
The sex in this story is rough, aggressive, and completely consensual. Without giving away the plot, some of the hot factor was tempered by the boy's confusion and hurt feelings, making it harder to get in to. Still, the whole was very well done. The "caution" flag would be appropriate, as there are some potential squick acts present in the story.
The plot itself was well done, with a nice twist on the protective brother story. The story progressed nicely, and keeps the reader guessing most of the way through.
Technically, I didn't notice anything wrong with this story.
Overall, I did like this story quite a bit. While there is some hot sex in it, I felt the final coupling could have been described in more detail to really make this complete.
