I have read a lot of "cheating wife" stories, both the BTB and the RAAC varieties. Believe it or not, you won't find either type here! Confused yet?
Roy and Mattie have been married for quite a while, have two kids, and a pretty decent sex life. Then Roy stumbles across indications that lead him to believe Mattie is cheating on him. He finally decides to catch the lovers in the act, and that's when the excrement hits the ventilation device. I really can't say much more without giving away a neat twist that I didn't see coming.
This story has a very satisfactory ending, and I highly recommend it with a few reservations. My personal preference is to skim over the dozens or hundreds of words many writers use to chronicle the events surrounding the main characters' early lives; schooling, how they met, dating, etc. I apologize to the writers of such detail, but it's enough for me to know that they met, dated, had sex, married, etc. unless said detail is necessary to establish patterns of behavior.
Bottom line...I think you will enjoy this tale.
