Reviewed:
I usually try not to review more than one of an author's stories on the same day, but just for once I've broken my own rule. Fresh from enjoying the River Rat stories, I started, and finished, reading Monkey, and I was entranced.
This is an unusual little story, with a unique plot, and beautifully drawn characters. For all that it's so short though, it covers a large chunk of the eponymous Monkey's life, but manages not to leave the reader feeling deprived.
I just wish I could have given this story all tens, but, sadly, the technical quality draws it back. Luckily, the technical faux pas don't destroy the readability of the story all together, and it's well worth the effort of reading it.
Read and enjoy!
