This story is one of 16 in the Making Of A Gigolo series. And it is, IMHO, the best (with the possible exception of the Epilogue). It involves, as do all in this series, a woman learning quite a bit about herself by way of involvement with Bobby Dalton, the chief protagonist.
What I really like about this one, though, is it's fairy-tale-like quality while being wholly believable. You find yourself saying that, given it's time setting, this could actually have happened. On top of that, the heroine is so vulnerable beneath that shell of titanium, that you actually ache for her to come out whole. And, given that Bob is a master of the happy ending, she does. Almost.
I don't want to say any more; it would give too much away. If you've gotten to this story, and this review, by some other channel other than the first 12 of this series, do yourself a favor and go back to those before you go forward. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
