Ahhhh, Impersonating Brianne is a very nice, very warm romance. Yes, it is an old theme, guy falls in love with hooker. But it was truly well done, and it was not a typical treatment.
I particularly enjoyed the fact it was told from the woman's point of view, which is really saying something for me as I typically prefer stories told from the man's side.
Another thing I really enjoyed about the story was the fact that it rang true, all the way through. I did not ever run into dialog or a portion of the story that felt forced.
While I usually complain that I like really long stories, I think this one would have lost something if the author tried to make it longer.
This is well worth your time, please don't pass it by, especially if you like happy romance stories, and with today's headlines, we need all of those we can get!

Old well-used story line... rich guy hires high class hooker to be his companion for a business occasion. They get to know each other and... read it to find out. Of course this story reminds me of the movie "Pretty Woman" and several other stories I've read in SOL but being written quite a bit from the woman's POV, I really enjoyed the way the author used her thoughts and feelings to make the story richer. Something that's difficult to do in film. The only plot line complaint I might have is that the story blazes on through to the ending without too many diversions off the path. It would probably have more dramatic appeal if it included more conflict. Oh well, I'm a sucker for a romance and this one made me feel good so I'm not complaining much.
The writing felt a little choppy in a few spots but nothing that made reading difficult. I didn't look specifically for errors and nothing stood out beside a couple of wrong words (aren't spell-checkers wonderful).
This has some well written sex scenes but to me it was much more the plot than the sex so I don't rate it highly as a stroker.
If you like a good romance, give it a try. You might even shed a happy tear or two.
