This isn’t a review in the usual sense. As I write this, the story is only a few chapters in, but this seems to be the only way to reach the author—or whoever may be posting these works now.
The last time I read any part of this tale was when I was helping Asa Strong with edits, back in August of 2006. At the time, we developed a good friendship through those exchanges. Later, I was under the impression that Asa had passed away, and our correspondence came to an abrupt and sad end. I truly believed we would never again have the chance to talk about his stories.
I may be mistaken, and I readily accept that possibility. Nearly twenty years have passed, and it has been quite a shock—and a pleasant one—to see these older works resurfacing under the pen name of Asa Strong.
I encourage readers to follow this story and any of his other works as they appear. His writing left a strong impression on me back then, and I believe many others will enjoy it as well.
