The customs of all cultures seem strange and for little purpose when viewed from outside their context. Ceremonies and rites of passage matter tremendously to those inside, but to the rest of us, we just starch our heads. This is a short story of one such custom as seen through the eyes of the principal involved. Sure we can wonder why, but in this case I say, Why not?

Sometimes the Rites of Ascendancy to the Throne of a country can be centuries old, complicated and unusual; however the Rites in this case are a critical part of the ceremony.
Cezar's father, the Lord Herceg, died, and in this ritual he assumes the Wives of his father, and to prove his ability to procreate and supply the kingdom with an heir, he must show his ability to service the selected wife, the Fej Feleseg, whom he hopes is his Birth Mother Alina.
Indeed when that paet of the Ceremony is reached it is Alina and he does his duty, much to their delight in having her son cum in all of her orifices as required by the Laws of Ascendancy, and we can see her secret wish to bear the next heir to the Throne. colt45 does it again!
