One never knows what to expect when you start an HDK story. The only certainty is that it will be well written. This story throws several clichés and then knocks them out of the ballpark. What surprised me most was the way the protagonist learned as the story progressed. In the end I think he was actually ready to move beyond the emotional stasis his divorce seems to have created. Like all good stories this one let me wanting more. I wanted to know how the protagonist used what he'd been taught, and I wondered if the antagonist had learned anything at all.

All in all a very interesting look at a relationship that is frequently written about in erotic stories but giving us a fresh prespepctive.
