This saga is about history in the making, Will is an engineer cum handyman, cum historian,cum a gun slinger, etc., etc., who lives as far from civilization as possible. Why? Because he is dying.
During a terrible thunder storm, life, and his surroundings change drastically. And he finds himself thrown into a parallel world where all the modern day rules are missing.
He is very fortunate that Carrie, another fugitive from the storm lands on his doorstep, and the start of a new civilization arrives. Over the years, his love life succeeds and he ends up with seven, or is it eight, wives. Rotedrachen really goes to town with story, producing a hypothesis on what has to happen for Will and his extended family to be successful.
On the whole an excellence is achieved by him much to our benefit.
Some story lines are started, but some disappear entirely.
Even so, an excellent tale and worth reading, or download to savour over time.
