I don't know who Creepy Uncle Pete is, but I know a kindred spirit when I read their stories. His stories are unabashedly filthy and perverted in a good way.
The acronym to his psuedonym is C.U.P. ( I just realized the acronym to his name is pronounced "See You Pee" - coincidence? probably.)
He's got a metric shit ton of short stories, so why did I choose to review one that isn't finished yet? There was something really special about this one.
It's on the fourth chapter as I write this, with lots of potential for expansion. It begins like a classic porno. Step sis needs a favor and the main character is the only one who can help out. Naturally, he wants some quid pro quo, and I assume quid pro quo is latin for blowjobs.
Because, that is what he gets.
It doesn't stray too far from the formula but in many ways that is what is charming about the story. It can twist, it can turn, it can zig when you think it will zag and go in some unexpected direction but it hasn't yet.
It's been clever writing that is true to it's premise. In a world of AI slop and stories that I can't relate to about vampire goats riding surfboards this is sort of a beer and pretzels stroke-it story.
You don't feel sorry for the sister. She's reluctant but she's made her bed, and she's invited him into it. No one is a perfect person in this story. It's got some good humiliation and sex, but not so much that it's just a list of sexual positions broken up by a little exposition.
The writing is snappy and clearly written by someone who enjoys naughty/nasty scenarios. It's refreshing and my only gripe is gonna probably be that it's not long enough. I know I am gonna fall in love with these characters and want to watch their growth and evolution over time as the power exchange grows and gets established.
The longest story Pete has written is 12 chapters, but he seems to average around 5-6 for most stories. He seems to have the kind of "Get in, do the fun bit and get out" strategy in writing.
Then he comes up with another brilliantly depraved scenario to work on. In that way, he reminds me a lot of the classic author Vulgus. Vulgus wrote such amazing short stories that they still live in my memory a decade after I read them.
I think C.U.P. is on track to do the same, and that's a very high bar for me. I only compare a handful of authors to Vulgus and I'd say Pete is in that category.
