Reviewed:
John Wales' space-faring opus Space adds up to a really good story, and is well worth the read. The number and breadth of characters is enormous, and most of them are pretty well drawn.
Where this novel falls down is in the technical side. Riddled with even the stupidest homonyms (to, too, and two), plus some unaccountable ones, like 'patients' instead of 'patience'. Missed words, part sentences, and poor editing make the whole thing difficult to read.
If you can hack your way through the jungle of poor grammar and spelling, the story is still worth reading, but it will take dedication on the part of the reader.
