The one thing I like about time travel, or a shift to another dimension, is that anything goes, well, within reason.
Nebraska is a "forgotten" State.But when our hero wakes up in a pool of his own vomit, he realises something weird has happened, with a vengeance.
But at least his very modern house saves him from a raging blizzard. However, his wife and son were away from his home, and are lost forever to him.
It is a well thought out tale, with plenty of potential, and is worth the continuation as a series, so there!
