Prior to this story, I never liked the Regan character in Nick Scipio's Summer Camp stories. Sure, she was cute enough (http://www.nickscipio.com/summercamp/extras/scgirls/sc_regan.html), but she was a rich bitch who, along with her boyfriend Rod, we were supposed to hate. Thus I was a bit skeptical when I saw this story and it languished in my queue for over a year. Yet once I got past the first chapter I just couldn’t put it down.
My only complaint is also one of this story’s greatest strengths: it’s short. There’s a saying, “If I had more time, this ___ would be shorter.” Well, let me just say that a lot of thought went into this story. While the story has a fast pace, the plot flows well and it doesn’t feel rushed. At five chapters you could read it in an evening, but there are plenty of chapter/story breaks for those that like to take things slower.
The story itself is very well written and I found myself rooting Regan on as she struggled to turn her life around. It was nice to find a story with a well crafted plot. There isn’t any sex in the first 3.5 chapters, but the last chapter and a half are smoking hot!
Overall, a very enjoyable read that I’d recommend to others.
