Sometimes I get really pissed off at Jim (not a Scot) Scouries. Really pissed off 'cos he writes such sad lovely stories like this. The scene is Miami Beach. The hero Rod the photographer, a very successful one at that. He befriends a Goth, all in black, hair eyes, lipstick, nail polish, (underwear?) and he discovers her deep dark secret, But, being the good hearted guy we expect, he falls in love with her, and marries her. To live happily ever after? Well not exactly. You see she has a baby sister just turning thirteen, and Daddy has made a serious threat about the child's place in his household. But you'll have to read it to find out what happens. Enjoy.
